Limited warranty terms

This limited warranty is given by [ registered company name ], trading as SPEED Smart Accessories(“we”), to the original purchaser of a SPEED product bought from us or an authorised seller. It is not transferable.

We warrant that, for [ warranty period to be confirmed ] from the date of delivery, the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will perform substantially in accordance with its published specification under normal use.

This warranty does not apply to:

• Physical damage, including drops, impact, crushing and cut cables
• Liquid ingress, except where the product carries a published IP rating and was used within it
• Damage arising from use with defective or non-compliant third-party equipment
• Cosmetic wear including scratches, scuffs and discolouration
• Products opened, modified, or repaired other than by us or our agent
• Consumable wear of batteries beyond normal expected degradation
• Products not purchased from us or an authorised seller

Claims should be made to us within the warranty period, with proof of purchase — the WhatsApp order message or delivery note is sufficient — and a description of the fault.

We may ask for photographs or video, and may ask you to return the product for inspection. Where a fault is confirmed, we bear the cost of return delivery.

Where a claim is accepted, our remedy is, at our option, to repair the product, replace it with the same or an equivalent product, or refund the price paid.

We aim to complete this within [ claim turnaround to be confirmed ] of receiving the product. A replacement carries the unexpired balance of the original warranty period, not a new one.

This warranty is given in addition to, and does not limit or replace, your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act and other applicable Nigerian law.
